After premiering in Cairo, Egypt, the unique programme „Around the World in 80 Minutes“ is coming to Berlin!

Florence Awotula grew up in England and Germany with a Nigerian background, and Nataliya moved to Germany from Ukraine as a child. For the last two years she has been living in Cairo.

Our different backgrounds inspired this programm.

17 Songs in 10 different languages will be presented: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Arabic, Yoruba, Russian and Ukrainian.

Connecting topics are places that feel like home, longing for a safe place, love, and every day life in the folk songs.
